How To Make A Template In Goodnotes

Creating Templates

Template creators -

What do yous usually use to create your templates? None of the ones I've seen are quite what I'm looking for, and so I want to try to make my own. I exercise have admission to the Adobe suite, but I'd like to hear your suggestions. What practise yous apply to create the hyperlinked PDFs, also?

I merely download the grid/lined/whatever template from goodnotes and so piece of work with it in procreate - works just as fine + if you go on the procreate file you will always be able to make adjustments if needed

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll have to attempt that out.

I employ Keynote. It is by far the easiest. Then I use other programs if I want to import images or other designs I've fabricated.

I believe on the GoodNotes website they have a video showing how to brand things using Keynote.

I've attached a link to my post explaining how I create custom templates:

Easy Way to Brand Custom Templates

Hope it helps!

Edit: forgot to say but I also apply keynotes if I desire to include hyperlinks. Yous can typically detect how to do this via tutorials on YouTube as I did.

I use procreate. I usually brand A3 templates merely you can make any, gear up the canvass size to whichever y'all want (you tin can search the size in pixels or mm or inches on the internet) then cull the background color and depict the lines or squares. I have pocket-size handwriting then every template there is available out at that place is too big for me. You can activate a guide for squares and accommodate their size and so merely describe over that guide. If you wanna alter the colours of both the lines and the groundwork, you can. It'due south much more than customizable with procreate imo. Well i use it for drawing as well and so it's worth the purchase, but if you don't need the app for annihilation other than templates it might not be equally worth it to you. I can give yous more info if you desire

I used Keynote, and merely change the size of the slides. Easy to link to a slide, easy to duplicate a base template, and so just consign it to PDF to import to goodnotes.

I use Illustrator for making things like lined templates or dot grids, and InDesign for putting together planners and such 😊
